MIAMI, Florida - Authorities are searching for two intruders they say broke into a Miami home and shot a man in the face.

Miami-Dade Police say the suspects broke into the home Tuesday night and shot a man in the face during a struggle. The man's son grabbed a gun inside the home and chased them off.

He drove his father to a hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. Detectives believe it was a bungled robbery.
