ESTERO, Fla. - Lee County Deputies are seeking the suspect who shot a pizza delivery driver. The employee of Jet's Pizza was making deliveries Monday night when he realized he'd been shot and was bleeding. The driver told authorities that he had been driving in the area of Three Oaks Parkway and Williams Road in Estero when he noticed his wound.
The victim drove back to the restaurant and called 9-1-1. Deputies say the driver was shot in the chest, probably from a stray bullet. Investigators do not believe the man was targeted. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
