FGCU student dies in I-75 car accident

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol confirms the identity of Sunday's car accident victim.
20-year old Brandee Herrington was a student at Florida Gulf Coast University.
According to the accident report, Herrington attempted to change lanes at mile marker 104 on I-75 in Collier County.
She overcorrected while trying to avoid hitting a car in the other lane.
Herrington's car hit a tree in the median.
