Gator stops traffic on U.S. 41 in Ft. Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A nine-foot-long alligator stopped traffic when he ventured out into the roadway on Thursday, April 8, in the area of U.S. 41in the vicinity of the BMW dealership.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene. The alligator was assessed and ultimately, he had to be euthanized.
