Police search for man in Charlotte County assault, home break

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. - Police are searching for the man who broke into a Rotonda home and beat up the female resident.
Charlotte County Deputies are searching for the suspect, described as a tall man with a beard, last seen wearing garden gloves. According to investigators, the woman encountered the male suspect inside her home; he assaulted her before fleeing the home.
