LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 10-year-old boy has
been hit and killed by a bus on Walt Disney World property in
Florida.
Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said the boy was hit near
the Fort Wilderness resort while riding his bicycle Thursday. He
was with an 11-year-old friend, who was not hurt.
The boy's name was not immediately released.
Bo Jones of the Reedy Creek Fire Department says 17 to 20 people
were on the bus, which was operated by Disney. He said no bus
passengers were hurt.
Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger says in a statement that the
company is helping the boy's family, but she did not provide
additional information about the accident.
