FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 18-year-old Justin Branden for allegedly robbing the 7-Eleven, located at 9651 Cypress Lake Drive, on Sunday just before 5:30 a.m.

Deputies responded to the scene of the crime, set the perimeter, and had K-9 attempt to track the suspect. Surveillance video revealed a person wearing a bandana over their face and red-shoe laced Converse shoes. Video from the evening prior, revealed a person wearing similar clothing with no bandana covering their face, who was later identified as Branden.

After securing a search warrant for his residence, clothing was discovered in the residence that was used in the robbery; including the Converse shoes with red shoe laces.

Detectives were unable to locate the stolen cash, but did recover:

-44 rolls of quarters
-36 rolls of nickels
-20 rolls of dimes
-1 roll of pennies
(Totaling $612.50)

The investigation continues.
