CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant Tuesday at an El Jobean convenience store, seizing several packages of synthetic drugs and arresting two store employees.

Yesterday at about 10:00 a.m., CCSO executed a search warrant at the Chevron station, located at 4048 El Jobean Road, to search for synthetic cannabinoids. During their search, they found nine foil packets that contained a substance that tested positive for synthetic marijuana in a back room.

The clerk on duty at the time was identified as 40-year-old Radhakrishna Sureddy. According to reports, on three separate occasions prior to the search warrant, undercover operatives had purchased packages of the synthetic drugs from Sureddy. One of those occasions was earlier Tuesday morning.

Another store employee, 41-year-old Simon Sanu, was also arrested Tuesday on charges that, on July 23, he had sold a package of synthetic marijuana to an undercover operative.

Sureddy was charged with multiple counts of Sale of Synthetic Cannabinoids, Possession of Synthetic Cannibinoids and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held at the Charlotte County Jail on a total $24,000 bond.

Sanu was charged with a single count each of Sale of Synthetic Cannabinoids, Possession of Synthetic Cannibinoids and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held on a total $17,000 bond.
