IMMOKALEE, Fla.- Collier County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his cousin in the head during an argument on the 1600 block of 8th Ave.

Guillermo Venegas, 20, faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, after the stabbing that happened on Sunday around 2:45 a.m.

A neighbor found the victim, covered in blood, asking for help after his cousin, later identified as Venegas, had stabbed him. The victim had stab wounds to the head, thigh and left hand, and said that his cousin stabbed him with a kitchen knife after an argument got out of hand.

The victim was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.

He said Venegas also had a cut on his forearm.

Venegas was located at Lehigh Regional Medical Center and was taken into custody. He refused to talk about the incident.
