POLK COUNTY, Fla.- A Naples man is accused of trying to meet a child for sex. The Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested 20-year-old Jacob Bickel and 15 other suspects following an undercover child sex sting. 

Bickel, a student at USF, allegedly had an online conversation with an undercover detective he thought was a 13-year-old boy. According to officers, Bickel described graphic sexual activity he would like to engage in with the boy and then traveled to the undercover location where he was arrested. Bickel reportedly had condoms and personal lubricant on him at the time of the arrest. Detectives said he admitted he arrived at the location to meet a 13-year-old boy, but said he just went to talk.

Bickel now faces the following charges:

Use 2-Way Communication Device to Commit Felony

Use Computer to Seduce/Solicit/Lure Child

Travel to Meet after Use Computer to Lure Child

Lewd Lascivious Conduct by Person over 18 YOA

Transmit Materials Harmful to Minor
