ARCADIA, Fla.- Arcadia Police arrested 36-year-old Chiquita Jackson on Thursday after she allegedly stabbed a woman with a steak knife following an argument on Facebook.

Police arrived on the scene at Louis C. Anderson Park around 8:15 p.m., and met with the victim, who was about to be transported to the hospital by helicopter. According to the report, she said that Jackson had stabbed her in the chest over some issues that had happened between the victim and Jackson's relatives over Facebook.

Police located Jackson at her mother's house, and she agreed to go to the police station to discuss what had happened. There, she reportedly confirmed that the incident started due to statements made on Facebook. Jackson allegedly said that the victim was among a group of females who approached her at the park. She claimed that she ran from the group, and denied stabbing the victim.
