CAPE CRASH, Fla.- Cape Coral Police have made an arrest in a serious crash that occurred in the 2700 block of Archer Parkway on Monday night.

Yesterday around 8:00 p.m., officers arrested 22-year-old Jonathan Blevins.

The crash happened on St. Patrick's Day at 9:22 p.m. A driver’s license check of Blevins shows that it is currently suspended (4 times) for failure to pay traffic fines and failing to complete court appointed traffic school. Blevins suffered minor injuries in the traffic crash.

The passenger, 22-year-old Robert Ahern, suffered numerous serous injuries as a result of the crash. Ahern remains at Lee Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

Blevins was booked into Lee County Jail on the following charges:

1 count- Driving While License Suspended Causing Serious Bodily Injury (Felony)

1 count- Careless Driving
