CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- Punta Gorda Police arrested a 58-year-old woman on Friday, who allegedly called 911 because a police officer would not have sex with her.
Maria Magdelina Montanez-Colon was arrested for misuse of the 911 system.
The officer responded to a home on the 5600 block of Almar Dr. for a separate incident. At that time, Montanez-Colon was reportedly intoxicated and kept making inappropriate comments at the officer while discussing a civil matter with him. He left the scene and instructed her to call the non-emergency line with issues of a similar nature in the future. He was soon called back to the same residence.
According to her arrest report, Montanez-Colon stated that she called the second time because the officer rejected her sexual advances during the first visit, which made her angry. He asked if she remembered their first conversation and the warning about misusing the 911 system. She allegedly said that she did, but didn't know of another way to get him to sleep with her.
Montanez-Colon was then arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail.
