CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral Police arrested Billy Jo Snowden and Jamie Woodward around 1:30 a.m. after a vehicle stop for a seat belt violation on Del Prado Boulevard South led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

During the stop, 41-year-old Snowden, the driver, was found to have an expired license. After issuing a citation for the expired license and warning the driver about his seat belt and concluding the traffic stop, the Patrol Officer obtained consent to search the vehicle.

During the search, Officers located a small baggie of methamphetamine in a wallet belonging to 40-year-old Woodward, the passenger. Chemicals and materials commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were also found in the car.

Cape Coral Police Department Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics Detective (VIN) responded to assist with the investigation. Both Snowden and Woodward were placed under arrest.

Additional components for the manufacture of methamphetamine were allegedly found on Snowden and a pill (Alprazolam), for which Woodward did not have a prescription was found on her. Both were charged accordingly and transported to Lee County Jail.
