GLADES COUNTY, Fla.- The Glades County Sheriff's Office arrested three men accused of smuggling contraband into the Moore Haven Correctional Facility.

An investigation revealed Jay Thomas Michaels, 66; Michael Gillen, 46; and Christopher Dettmar, 36, allegedly schemed to introduce tobacco and synthetic marijuana (also known as K2 or Spice) into the prison where Dettmar is currently incarcerated and from where Gillen had been recently released.

Dettmar was arrested and later released back to the custody of Moore Haven Correctional Facility.

Michaels was released from the Hendry County Jail after posting his $15,000 bond.

Gillen is still in custody at the Glades County Jail with a bond amount of $30,000.
