FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's detectives have arrested the other man responsible for last week's armed robbery of the Mobil gas station, located at 11571 Gladiolus Drive. A 16-year-old now faces charges with Robbery with a Firearm.
Detectives arrested a 17-year-old on Monday for the same crime. Detectives determined that the teens were in the convenience store earlier in the evening and then decided to return to commit the armed robbery.
According to the store clerk, the two teens entered the store wearing masks. They pointed guns at the clerk and demanded money. They received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot. No one was injured.
