CAPE CORAL, Fla.- The man known for running the Facebook page Snitch Stoppers 239 has been arrested on drug charges.

Edward Bergen, 28, was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to sell, cocaine possession with intent to sell, possession of controlled substances without a prescription, possession of drug equipment and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

Cape Coral Police arrested him last Friday after serving a search warrant at his home, that led to the discovery of the drugs, paraphernalia and ammunition. According to Bergen's arrest report, the items were found in his bedroom and in the garage. He told officers he didn't know anything about the cocaine.

Bergen is a convicted felon on probation for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

Bergen's popular website outs people who work with law enforcement. He calls it the Anti-Crime Stoppers. He even offers rewards for people who identify snitches, paid in food stamps.
