MIAMI (AP) - Miami-Dade Police have identified one suspect who was shot and killed by officers during a countywide manhunt.
Police identified the suspect on Wednesday as 27-year-old Adrian Montesano.
Authorities say Tuesday's manhunt started when Montesano robbed a drugstore. When officers responded to the scene, Montesano fired at one officer and stole his police cruiser. The car was abandoned in Hialeah where he and a second suspect got into another car, firing at officers pursuing then as part of the countywide manhunt.
Montesano was shot and killed by officers. He died at the scene. The second suspect died at the hospital. That person has not yet been identified by police.
Two officers shot in the exchange were not seriously injured. A third, Saul Rodriguez, underwent surgery after being shot in the abdomen.
