ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's deputies arrested 32-year-old Laura Quinones after she allegedly stole an elderly man's debit card and racked up more than $9,000 in charges.

On October 29, an Englewood Bank customer reported to deputies that his debit card had been stolen, and that more than $9,800 was stolen from his account. According to documents provided by the bank to CCSO, 17 transactions were made from September 23 through October 28 totaling just over $5,000. Surveillance video was obtained from many of the locations, and photos were released to the media for assistance locating the suspects involved. Several tips came into the sheriff's office identifying the female suspect as Quinones.

Quinones was located and taken into custody on December 5. She faces charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and grand theft from a person 65 or older.
