GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla.- The Collier County Sheriff's Office arrested 34-year-old Iono Aguirre De Carcer, of Plantation, yesterday after discovering a marijuana grow house in Golden Gate Estates. Detectives found 117 plants, valued at $351,000, growing inside the residence, according to the arrest report. Additionally, $20,860 was discovered and seized from the house.

Detectives said every room of the house, located at 4761 Golden Gate Blvd., was being used for the grow operation, including the garage. The rooms contained high intensity light bulbs, additional air conditioning units, high power transformers, buckets and high-grade fertilizer. The equipment alone was valued at $30,000.

Aguirre De Carcer was found occupying the living room, and personal documents belonging to him were also found inside the residence. There was no indication that anyone else was residing in the house. 

Aguirre De Carcer was arrested and charged with marijuana trafficking, possession of a structure for the purpose of trafficking marijuana and possession of narcotic equipment.
