FORT MYERS, Fla.- Fort Myers Police have arrested the suspect accused of robbing a convenience store, located at 3038 Cleveland Avenue, Tuesday night before fleeing on a bicycle.

Upon arrival just after 11:00 p.m., police learned that an unknown male, later identified as 36-year-old Daniel Dibiase, entered the business, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. He fled on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk provided responding officers with a good description of the suspect.

FMPD setup a perimeter. Officer Ezra Padgham and his K9 Partner Wotan tracked southbound where they located the suspect’s bicycle near Braman and Cleveland Avenues. Officer Robert Vega located Dibiase hiding behind some bushes in the 3400 block of Cleveland Avenue.
