ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- A man and woman were arrested earlier today on drug-related charges after the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office executed search warrants at their residence east of Englewood.

According to reports, detectives began an investigation in late June 2013 concerning narcotics activity at 10197 Tramore Avenue. As a result of their investigation, they were able to obtain a search warrant for the house on Monday. They executed that search warrant early this morning.

While at the house, detectives found that an enclosed trailer and a van owned by one of the residents of the house was parked on an adjacent vacant lot. After two different narcotics-trained K9s alerted on the vehicles, detectives requested and received a second search warrant for them.

During the search of the residence and the vehicles, detectives located 1,860 grams, or 4.1 pounds, of marijuana with an estimated street value of $18,450. The marijuana was stored in vacuum sealed bags which are commonly used during the sale and delivery of marijuana. The contents of all of the packages tested positive for marijuana.

Detectives arrested Andrew Arthur Lalor, 39, and Mary Mae Feustel, 28, on charges of Possession of Marijuana over 20 Grams, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Sell or Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Lalor and Feustel were transported to the Charlotte County Jail where they were being booked at the time of this report.

Feustel’s 8-year-old son was at the house in the bedroom where some of the marijuana was located during the search. He was released into the custody of a relative.
