NAPLES, Fla.- Collier County Sheriff's deputies arrested Carlos Antunez, 40, of 530 Wilson Blvd., for allegedly running an elaborate indoor marijuana growing operation at on the same property where his children lived.
The suspect told deputies his 10-year-old and 7-year-old daughters lived in the residence, on the property.
After serving a search warrant, deputies found 20 mature marijuana plants and growing equipment in a shed-like structure on the property. The plants weighed 158 pounds, and had a street value of $60,000. The growing equipment was valued at $10,000.
Antunez was arrested and faces charges of marijuana trafficking, manufacturing drugs in the presence of minors and and possession of paraphernalia.
