LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Businesses along Lee Boulevard were targeted in string of early morning thefts, sparking an aggressive response from Lee County Sheriff's deputies in an effort to capture the suspect.
Deputies observed a man walking suspiciously along Lee Boulevard. He was later identified as 26-year-old Patrick Thomas Hudson, and was observed pulling on the door handle of a local establishment. Deputies say Hudson threw a brick through the glass window of the business and made entry.
Deputies moved in and successfully took Hudson into custody. Hudson is being charged with five business burglaries.
The investigation is ongoing.
