NAPLES, Fla.- Naples Police arrested a juvenile yesterday, who is accused in a violent home invasion robbery that happened on June 3.

During the robbery, a male known to the victims knocked on the front door, then forcibly entered the residence with two additional suspects. The suspects possessed a handgun, and utilized it to pistol-whip the one of the victims striking him several times in the head. The suspects then zip-tied two victims hands and legs and ransacked a bedroom. While the robbery continued, the one victim was able to escape outside and yell for help.

The suspects fled the residence driving a white Cadillac vehicle. The victim advised that the suspects removed items valued over $300 from his residence. The victim positively identified the 17-year-old suspect, an acquaintance, as one of the robbery suspects.

Yesterday, authorities located and arrested the teen in East Naples. He was charged with armed robbery, burglary and grand theft.

Detectives are continuing the investigation, and developing information to connect the two additional suspects.
