LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Robert Zamrok, 57, of Strykersville, New York, was arrested for battery and breach of peace at the Southwest Florida International Airport on Friday after allegedly punching a fellow passenger on a flight.
Zamrok allegedly told Lee County Port Authority Police that he was punched by another man on the flight. The victim and witnesses had a different story.
They told officers the victim was pushed and shoved by Zamrok when was rushing to get off the aircraft. Zamrok admitted to pushing and shoving, and told police it had been a long day.
The victim told police Zamrok came up behind him, trying to get past, but he explained there was no where for him to go. In response, Zamrok punched him in the head and grabbed his shirt.
When one of the witnesses asked Zamrok if he hand her a bag, he allegedly said no. The victim then asked if Zamrok would hand it to her, but again he said no. Zamrok then shoved the witness out of the way.
