LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a teacher for refusing to put down his gun.

Deputies say they got a call about two men armed with guns, possibly holding a woman against her will. Investigators say James Jones refused to put down his 410 shotgun, and when he did comply, he would not show his hands.

Deputies feared Jones may have another weapon and after a struggle, he was finally cuffed.

The Lee County School District confirms Jones is a teacher at South Fort Myers High School.
