LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Another Lee County deputy is accused of being on the wrong side of the law, facing several drug charges that include growing it. Deputy Peter Urbanski and his girlfriend, Shannon Clancey, were arrested early this morning.
When their Cape Coral home was searched, the Sheriff's Office says a total of 30 plants where found in the home, dried marijuana was in the kitchen area, and they also found two pipes.
Urbanski appeared before a judge this morning, and is being released on a $4,000 bond for the three charges he is facing.
Sheriff Mike Scott said, "We stand firm at policing our own house, and we take immediate action when someone violates the public's trust."
Urbanski has been fired from the department. His next court date will be on June 17th.
