NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 52-year-old Donald Leo Hayward on Saturday, in regards to a one-acre wildfire near North Cleveland Street and Pine Island Road.
No one was injured in the fire, and no property was damaged, according to the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
Hayward was booked into the Lee County Jail on felony charges of intentionally burning land. He is being held on $7,500 bond.
