FORT MYERS, Fla. - On Thursday, the Fort Myers Police Department’s Special Investigations Group with the assistance of SWAT and uniformed officers conducted two search warrants at 2505 Royal Palm Avenue #25 and 2525 Royal Palm Avenue #9. The investigation was the result of information developed by detectives. At the first address, 2505 Royal Palm police seized 24 grams of marijuana individually packaged for street distribution, 39 capsules (9 grams) of MDMA or Mollies and $1,156.00 in cash. The total street value of drugs seized was $1, 200.00. Police arrested the following people: Jonathan Cole (d.o.b. 08/01/83 of Fort Myers) was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1000 feet of a daycare and possession of drug paraphernalia. Reginald Johnson (d.o.b.11/02/89 of Fort Myers) was arrested for possession of MDMA with the intent to sell within 1000 feet of a daycare. At the second address 2525 Royal Palm police seized 233 grams of marijuana, a Springfield Armory 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, drug paraphernalia used to weigh and package drugs and $505.00 cash. Police arrested the following people: Taquan Brown (d.o.b.09/01/90 of Fort Myers) was arrested for obstruction of the execution of the search warrant. Bryan Murph (d.o.b.02/16/81 of Fort Myers) was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1000 feet of a Daycare.
