CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office says a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week has turned himself in.
Detectives say 40-year-old Eli Rogers turned himself in to the Charlotte County Jail Friday in connection with the robbery of C1 Bank in Port Charlotte that occurred last Tuesday.
Rogers had shaved his head following the bank robbery. CCSO issued very clear C1 Bank surveillance photos of the robber to the media and received numerous tips on his identity. Friday morning, detectives released Rogers name to the public after a warrant for bank robbery had been issued. Rogers remains in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond.
