LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man accused of robbing Foam and Fizz, on Palm Beach Blvd., after tasing him three times.

Deputies were called to Foam and Fizz on Saturday in reference to a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, officers saw a man holding the front door and shouting, "He is still here." As deputies approached, the suspect, later identified as 49-year-old Scott Drifka, ran out the door, ignoring commands to stop. One deputy deployed his taser to Drifka's back. The suspect fell to the ground. Drifka continued to resist and was tased a second time. After being asked to put his hands behind his back, and ignoring the command yet again, Drifka was tased a third time. The suspect then complied.

The victim accused Drifka of snatching two $20 bills out of the register. In the process, the bills were torn. The recovered pieces matched the bills in the suspect's hand.

Drifka was arrested.
