FORT MYERS, Fla.- On Tuesday, the Fort Myers Police Department arrested 43-year-old Kellie Harrigan for robbery with a firearm after she allegedly robbed the Publix Supermarket located at 4600 Summerlin Road last week.

Officers positively identified Harrigan as the suspect after a citizen recognized her from pictures in local media. FMPD arrested Harrigan earlier today without incident.

The robbery happened on the morning of February 27. Upon arrival police learned that a woman wearing a trench coat and oversized sunglasses approached the customer service desk to purchase a candy bar. At that time, she handed the clerk a note that demanded money. The note implied that she had a weapon.

During the crime the suspect held her hand over her mouth and stated to the clerk “I forgot to put my teeth in today.”

Harrigan fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in silver sedan.
