LEE COUNTY, Fla.- David Henley, the man accused of having marijuana and cocaine inside a former Lee County commissioner's rental car, admitted to the charges Wednesday. Henley accepted a plea deal in court, and will now go through a pre-trial diversion program.
Deputies stopped Henley and former Lee County commissioner Brian Bigelow in November 2012 after they were seen leaving what deputies said was a known drug house.
Bigelow was cited for allowing Henley to drive his vehicle without a license.
