NAPLES, Fla. - Deputies said 51-year-old Luis Suarez Paz was conducting dental services inside his apartment near Radio Road and Santa Barbara Boulevard.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office said they were notified of Luis Sanchez Paz and last week sent a detective undercover, posing as a new patient with a toothache.
The report said the officer went as far as letting the man perform a dental exam on her teeth. Suarez Paz told her she would need to get x-rays taken at a real dentist's office and bring them back, so he could perform a root canal. The surgery would cost $350 and require four additional visits. Detectives returned to the apartment with a search warrant.
Suarez Paz was arrested yesterday and faces two felony charges, including practicing dental hygiene without a license.
