LEE COUNTY, Fla.- An arrest has been made in a hit and run crash that sent a South Fort Myers High student to the hospital in August.
On October 18th, 22-year-old Chelsie Dahlbeck turned herself in for violation of leaving the scene of a crash involving personal injury.
Florida Highway Patrol said that the student, Keisha Bien-Aime, was waiting at the intersection of Sanibel Blvd. and Geranium Road, when Dahlbeck's truck veered off the road, hit Bien-Aime and fled the scene.
Bien-Aime was released from the hospital in September, but her recovery continues.
