LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 32-year-old Warren Jackson after he allegedly punched a K9 multiple times in the head.
A witness called LCSO in regards to a domestic dispute on 4th St. W. Jackson was allegedly arguing with a female and throwing breakable items in the yard.
A K9 deputy arrived on the scene to investigate, during which time Jackson pulled out a white substance that he claimed was asprin and immediately fled through the front yard. The deputy and K9 chased after him.
Jackson was ordered to the ground and warned that he would be tased, but he continued. The deputy deployed his taser, but missed. Jackson was warned that the K9 would be released and that the suspect would be bitten, but he continued.
When the K9 was released, Jackson kicked him directly in the chest, causing the dog to stop. The K9 attempted to apprehend Jackson again when the suspect began violently punching the dog in the head with a closed fist, according to the report. Jackson was pepper sprayed and tased before he stopped assaulting the dog and was secured.
The white substance tested positive for cocaine.
