PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives executed a search warrant at a Port Charlotte home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and made two arrests on various drug charges. Sean Jerrel Perry, 24, and David Robert Charles, 30, both of 22138 Belinda Avenue, were arrested on multiple charges.
Narcotics undercover detectives made two marijuana purchases from Perry on June 27 and July 3, obtained a search warrant and then made entry into the home. Seized inside were quantities of marijuana, plastic baggies, plastic bottles, and metal tins containing marijuana and seeds, a scale, two grinders, four pipes, rolling papers, a silver spoon and plastic baggie containing Opiate residue.
Perry and Charles were transported to the Charlotte County Jail where they both remain on no bond. Perry, a convicted felon, was charged with two counts of Sale and Delivery of Marijuana, one count for Possession of Opiates, and three counts each for Possession of Marijuana and three counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Perry also was charged with three counts of Violation of Probation for previous burglary charges.
Charles was charged with Possession of Opiates, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
