PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives this morning at 6:30 a.m. with assistance of the SWAT team raided a known drug house east of Punta Gorda. This is the third time this house has been raided since July 2010. The home is at 4631 Westwood Drive, just off U.S. 17 and Golf Course Boulevard. Daniel James Desrosiers, 30; Jamie Deneen Marshall, 21; andHunter Bruce Morrison, 21, (all were living in the home raided) were arrested in the early morning drug raid.

After SWAT members removed the trio from the home, Narcotics detectives began their search. They seized a plastic container with Methamphetamine, a metal bowl with Methamphetamine, Nine grams of Hallucinogenic Mushrooms (Psilocybin), a canvas bag with Meth residue, a Zip-Lock bag with five grams Methamphetamine, and a .22 Caliber round of ammunition.

In Marshall’s 1997 Honda, detectives seized a glass pipe with Meth residue, two spoons with Opiate residue, five syringes, a .40 Caliber handgun with 15-rounds of ammunition, a digital scale, and two .22 caliber rifles.

In Morrison’s 1996 Toyota pickup detectives located a bag of marijuana, Hallucinogenic Mushrooms (Psilocybin) and a .22 Caliber rifle.

All three were transported to the Charlotte County Jail and charged with Possession of Hallucinogenic Mushrooms (Psilocybin) and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia. Desrosiers was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon. He is being held on no bond; this is his 19th booking. Marshall was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Opiates; bond was set at $8,500. This is her 7th booking. Morrison was additionally charged with Possession of Marijuana; bond was set at $4,500 and this is his 2nd booking.
