FORT MYERS, Fla.- Rodney Terrell Davis, 29, was arrested on Friday after deputies uncovered stolen debit cards and a list of names and social security numbers in the suspect's vehicle.
Davis was initially pulled over for a minor traffic infraction. Deputies reported that Davis appeared to be extremely nervous, despite being told that he would only be receiving a written warning.
Deputies became suspicious and decided to utilize a K-9 unit to conduct a free air sniff, which revealed the presence of a narcotic odor coming from within the vehicle.
A search was conducted and revealed a backpack which contained a list of handwritten names, birthdays and social security numbers, in addition to two stolen debit cards and a small amount of marijuana.
The suspect was apprehended and is now facing charges of fraud and impersonation.
