FORT MYERS, Fla.- Sean Michael Sage, 38, was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly stealing cash registers from two area businesses.

According to police reports, a witness notified deputies after seeing a man run from an area nail salon carrying a black box. When police arrived on scene they found the front glass door to the nail salon had been smashed. The door to an adjacent consignment shop was also smashed.

Upon further investigation, the cash registers from both businesses were thrown on the floor and the contents appeared to have been emptied.

With the help of witnesses, deputies were able to identify and apprehend the suspect. Sage is now facing charges of burglary of an unoccupied structure and petty theft.
