NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- A woman was lying in bed on Friday evening when she heard multiple gunshots fired near her home in Suncoast Estates.

The woman told deputies that she remained lying down until the shots stopped. Then, she surveyed her home where she noticed several bullet holes in various walls and doors.

Several neighbors also reported hearing the gunshots, and some reported seeing an unfamiliar vehicle in area, according to police reports.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
