Copper wire stolen from undergound traffic signal box

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Approximately 2,000 feet of copper wire was stolen from the underground traffic signal box at the corner of Summerlin Road and College Pkwy on Wednesday.

The damage is estimated to cost as much as $6000 to repair, according to police reports.

Police have identified two possible suspects after they were reportedly seen removing the wire from the boxes.
