PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics detectives arrested two Punta Gorda marijuana dealers after being caught with 1,580 grams of marijuana and $7,080 in cash. Patrick Charles Deroche, 21, and Megan Marie Shillito, 20, both of 2419 Sunshine Boulevard, were arrested.
Tuesday, CCSO received a call from a State Probation Officer who did a probation search of the Deroche and Shillito home since they are both on State felony probation, and found a large box of marijuana. Narcotics detectives responded and located a box in their bedroom containing the sizable amount of marijuana. They also found a digital scale and a number of smaller plastic bags and containers, some with marijuana residue.
Also located in the bedroom closet was a small safe with $7,000 cash wrapped with rubber bands in $1,000 increments. Detectives seized the cash as drug forfeiture money. A ledger was also found in the safe.

Both were on felony State Probation. Deroche, a convicted felon has 17 bookings, Shillito has four bookings. They both remain in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond.
