PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- The Punta Gorda Police Department arrested four Lee County residents on Tuesday morning, shortly after they had committed several burglaries and thefts at Bennett’s Automotive. The owner of Bennett's Automotive called police after seeing two pickup trucks leaving his business. One pickup was pulling the other. One of the trucks contained stolen property from Bennett's.

Officers stopped the pickups about a mile away, and all four occupants were arrested on various charges. The four are accused of stealing from two vehicles parked at Bennett’s, as well as stealing property from Bennett’s Automotive. All of the stolen items were located in the back of one of the pickups.

Those arrested include:

- James P. Murphy, 38, of 4600 Bayline Drive in North Fort Myers

-Stefanie L. McIntyre, 29, of 3724 Richard Road in North Fort Myers

-Jack J. McIntyre, 30, of 3724 Richard Road in North Fort Myers

-Manuel Luna, 23, of 8430 Ebson Drive in North Fort Myers
