PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office conducted a raid of a meth drug home Tuesday morning in Port Charlotte that led to the arrest of three people.
Following an investigation, a search warrant was obtained and at 7 a.m. SWAT made a forced entry into the home at 22102 Riverhead Avenue in the New York area. Brian Charles Fitzpatrick, 44, who lived in the home; Jason Ray Bennett, 26, of 26444 Custer Road in South Punta Gorda Heights; and Jamie Rae Thomas, 29, of 3109 Greendale Road in North Port, were all arrested following a search of the home.
Narcotics detectives seized five Pyrex pipes, two scales, two plastic straws, two pieces of burnt aluminum foil, a syringe, plastic spoon and plastic baggie, that all tested positive for Methamphetamine residue. Bennett and Thomas said they were visiting Fitzpatrick at his home for the night.
The three were transported to the Charlotte County Jail and each charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia. This is Fitzpatrick and Bennett’s fourth booking.
