PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives filed nine more felony charges on 21-year-old Sadikey Rolando Jennis for selling six of the weapons he stole from the Army/Navy gun store burglary Feb. 8.
When the massive investigation led to Jennis being one of four suspects in the theft of 25 weapons, CCSO Narcotics Unit detectives, acting in an undercover capacity, arranged the purchase of stolen firearms two at a time from Jennis at his home on Mar. 20, Mar. 22 and Apr. 2. Jennis was notified of the new charges at his jail cell Monday where he’s been since his Apr. 10 arrest in the gun theft case. He now has 16 charges and remains in jail on no bond.
His younger brother, 18-year-old Greg Gary Jennis, 19-year-old Noel George Adolphus Levy and 22-year-old Ramon David Nicholson, all remain in the Charlotte County Jail on no bond.
The investigation continues.
