PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives arrested the third teen in connection with the Apr. 8 armed home invasion robbery in the 18400 block of Robinson Avenue in Port Charlotte. Ahron Jacob Meissner, 18, of 21890 Catherine Ave., was arrested for the crime.
Kendrick Lequan McCray, 18, and a 17-year-old female were arrested last week in connection with the crime.
The 66-year-old homeowner reported to detectives that two male subjects and a female, one armed with a rifle and the others with handguns, entered his home and stole cash and various electronic items. The trio of robbers then got the keys to the man’s grey Toyota Camry parked in the garage, loaded it with the stolen items and drove off. The homeowner said he was in fear for his life.
Detectives charged all three with Home Invasion Robbery with a Firearm; Meissner and McCray were additionally charged with Grand Theft, and Meissner also for Grand Theft Auto. Meissner remains in jail on $30,000 bond.
McCray bonded out Apr. 12 on $35,000 bond.
The juvenile female was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice center in Ft. Myers for 21-days.
