SANIBEL, Fla.- Sanibel traffic was backed up briefly on San-Cap Road Thursday afternoon, as a 10 ft. alligator slowly made his way across the road!

He was headed into some wetlands across the street, when the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge snapped this photo.

The gator was able to safely make it across.
