TRAVERSE, MI.- A Michigan man blew off part of his genitals with fireworks last Monday, according to MLive.

The Huffington Post reported that the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department responded to the scene and discovered the man "bleeding profusely from the genitals."

The unidentified man lit a mortar which didn't go off right away. Thinking it was a dud, he walked towards it and the firework blew up in between his legs.

The man's identity and condition are unknown.
